Stem på idéen

BAGGRUND
Når medarbejdere præsenterer en ny idé, der ikke umiddelbart passer ind i virksomhedens strategi tabes de ofte på gulvet - ikke mindst under en økonomisk krise.

IDE
Virksomheden afsætter midler til seed-investering i utraditionelle ideer genereret internt. Når ideen er identificeret og vurderet af virksomheden etableres en spin-out virksomhed med idéfolkene og den oprindelige virksomhed som ejere. Evt. etableres der kontakt til eksterne investorer med interesse for at investere i spin-outs til de næste runder af financiering.

Sandsynligvis vil denne type virksomheder være mindre risikable end traditionelle opstartvirksomheder, da medarbejderne rekrutteres fra en eksisterende virksomhed med markedsforståelse og erfaring i produktudvikling.

Det er en god ide, men der skal være en mekanisme eller struktur til at håndtere de nye forretningsmuligheder. Sådan noget har venture branchen årtiers erfaring i. Derfor er det en god ide at lave en intern (corporate) venture funktion og lade den finansiere og håndtere de nye forretningsmuligheder.
Husk at venture folkene skal have et økonomisk incitament til kun at investere virksomheden penge i ting de virkelig tror på og vil slås for.

enig...men det vigtigste første skridt er, at virksomheden overhovedet tør tænke tanken og åbne op, så den får min stemme :-)
