Mange virksomheder ønsker at styre kontakten til deres kunder stramt. Det betyder, at den kundeskabte innovation skal løftes af et lille betroet felt af medarbejdere, mens den store majoritet af ansatte bliver friholdt. Alternativet er en organisationskultur, hvor ALLE medarbejdere forventes at skabe de netværk, som de har brug for, og dermed kan gå direkte ud og få de input, de har brug for.

Et lidt radikalt tankeeksperiment: Hvad ville kunderne gøre, hvis de kunne bestemme virksomhedens strategi? Sagt på en anden måde: hvad skal der til for at få kunderne til for alvor at identificere sig med virksomheden? Måske kan det endda skabe grundlag (og mening!) for virksomhedens egen vision? (dvs. glemme de økonomiske måleparametre for en stund).
