Lederens vigtigste funktion er at frigøre potentialet i virksomheden. Hun skal derfor flytte fokus fra styring/management til innovation/proces/relationer. Ikke et kontor men et korps af innovations agenter, brokers der kan sætte folk sammen, skabe nye forbindelser, se ideerne på tværs, understøtte dialogen og kommunikationen og hjælpe i udviklings- og implementeringsfaserne <- så ideerne bliver til virkelighed.
En innovationspulje er også vigtig.
Gode innovatører, der er givende og delende i deres tilgang, anerkendes af ledelsen.
